The first STLA Dr. Joyce Kimble Scholarship was awarded in June 2017. Marianna Castillo is an exemplarary student at UTSA working on a her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology, as a prerequisite for medical schoo. She hopes to one day work as an OB/Gyn handling a variety of women’s health matters. Marianna has grown up as part of the STLA family – always seen at the various show barns helping her folks to prepare their cattle for the shows. She also earned an STLA Youth Scholarship when she graduated from Austin’s McCallum High School in 2014.
